I'm sorry MBC

I hope you can begin to lose weight and get it off.   I have gained again also but I keep my gaining to a minimum.   I really hope you can get it together.

If you need to take baby steps then start taking baby steps,  just make steps to get yourself moving  back in the right direction.

They operated on our stomach...our intestines...not our brains.

WLS is more mental then it is physical. Physically, you have been given a tool to aide in your weight loss...mentally, you have to LEARN to, WANT to, work that tool.

What I mean by that is: for some exercise don't come easy, drinking 64oz of water don't come easy, eating healthy does not come easy...but if you don't mentally prepare for these thngs, your tool will work TEMPORARILY!....

I will say it again...BAF...there is nothing WRONG with consulting a pyschiatrist/phychologist.

You just may learn WHY you have an eating addiction and learn ways to cure it!

I focus not on my disabilty; my focus is on my ABILITIES.

Dedee, you are right!! I didn't take the opportunity while my body was basically loosing on its on to get my mind right. Now that I have to put forth more effort, I am having a hard time.

Firstly, no judgement, just love.  We have all backslid at some time or another. So, don't beat yourself up.  It's 6 lbs. Not 1000!   Go back to the basics.  Protein first, excellent eating behavior (ie: portion control, no eating and drinking at the same time, mindful eating, chewing properly, putting the fork down, healthy food choices) water loading, working out, and staying in a positive mindset.

Jevon, you can do this girl.  You have the right mindset, the right heart, the right tools and we are all here to cheer you on your journey!!!!

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

I'm glad you posted this.  It gives me a reality check and reminds me that I can never forget to be conscious of my decisions.  Wishing you lots of luck!!

Congratulations Jevon! You are keeping things in check by making yourself consciously aware that you might be slipping.  Best to recognize it early before you get to a full blown relapse. Good for you and continued success with this journey!

I can get obsessive about tracking (like everyone did not already know that).  But the benefit is always knowng exactly what's happening. No room to rationalize how you think you're doing vs reality.

I'm glad you are determined to get with the program again.  Us early out folks need the reminder that we can make a cluster fkcu of it all.  However, we never have to let things get out of control in the first place.
